How much do IPL treatments cost

Are you interested in IPL for your skin woes?  IPL often referred to as photofacial, is a safe, fast-acting, skin treatment that can treat a range of skin conditions, and revitalize the appearance of the skin.   IPL is very affordable when compared to other laser skin resurfacing treatments, which makes it a good choice for many people.  But how much do IPL treatments cost.

What is IPL?

IPL (intense pulsed light) is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that uses broadband light to treat a variety of skin concerns including wrinkles, rosacea, age spots, broken capillaries, and freckles.

How IPL works

IPL devices emit varying wavelengths of light that penetrate through to the deep layers of the skin.  The pulses of light target unwanted pigment that causes brown spots and other blemishes. The damaged tissue is naturally removed by the body, leaving the skin clearer and more beautiful.  IPL also kills bacteria in the skin that contribute to breakouts (learn more).

How much do IPL treatments cost?

The cost of a single IPL treatment can range from $600 to $1,200, as the price depends on the specific condition being treated, and the size of the targeted area.   Other factors that will affect the cost of IPL treatments include the experience of the provider, geographic location, and the number of sessions required.

Since IPL is considered an elective cosmetic procedure, most health insurance plans won’t cover the cost, so clients will have to pay for treatment out-of-pocket.
