Is laser hair removal expensive?

Are you thinking about laser hair removal but wonder if it’s worth the cost?  Laser hair removal is certainly a convenient, long-term solution for unwanted hair, but is it expensive.

How laser hair removal works

Is laser hair removal expensive?

Laser hair removal can be costly, but if you’re tired of shaving, waxing, or plucking, it is a very efficient way to remove unwanted hair.

Laser hair removal can cost anywhere from $200-$700 per session, and most clients need 4-6 sessions to achieve optimal results.  While clients will notice a reduction in hair after one session, several treatments are needed because of the cyclical pattern in which hair grows. Skin type and hair thickness can also impact the number of laser hair removal sessions needed.

The cost of laser hair removal is dependent on the number of sessions required, the number of areas being treated, and the size of the treatment area.  Larger areas such as the back and legs generally cost more than smaller areas like the upper lip or underarms.

Is it worth the cost?

Most people that have undergone laser hair removal agree that it’s worth the cost, because it provides long-lasting hair reduction.  While you have to pay more up-front for laser hair removal, the long-term benefits makes it a better option, when compared to other hair removal treatments.
