Is there a non-surgical facelift?

Would you like to rejuvenate your face, but don’t want to go under the knife. In recent years there has been an increased demand for non-surgical facial treatments, but is there a non-surgical facelift?  Yes, there are minimally invasive facial treatments and procedures that provide similar results to a surgical facelift.

What exactly is a non-surgical facelift?

A non-surgical facelift is a procedure that is designed to rejuvenate and refresh the appearance, and address signs of aging.  The vampire facelift is a popular non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedure.

What is the vampire facelift?

The vampire facelift is a facial treatment that uses platelet rich plasma (PRP) to revitalize and repair the skin.  PRP is a component of the blood that contains growth factors that regenerate tissue, and promote healing.

How does the vampire facelift rejuvenate the face?

The blood used for the procedure is taken from the patient’s arm, and then placed in a centrifuge where it is spun at a high speed, to separate the plasma from the rest of the blood.  The PRP is then injected into the targeted areas of the face.

The PRP stimulates the growth of skin cells, and this improves the tone, elasticity and thickness of the skin.  PRP also gets the skin to produce more collagen.  The increased collagen helps to restore lost volume over time, giving the face a vibrant, youthful appearance.

It may take 1-3 treatments to achieve optimal results with a vampire facelift.
