Is it best to use Liquid Facelift alone or with other injectable treatments?

Facial aging no longer has to be treated surgically, as there are now various injectables that can be used for facial rejuvenation. Sculptra is an injectable that is often referred to as a liquid facelift, but there are also fillers that work in a similar manner. However, is it best to use liquid facelift alone, or with other injectable treatments?

Liquid Facelift

A liquid facelift is a non-surgical anti-aging option that rejuvenates and refreshes the face. It can be used to correct volume in the midface, and other areas that have experienced fat loss. It typically involves the use of injectables such as botox and dermal fillers.

Botox can effectively minimize wrinkles, especially those between the eyebrows, across the forehead, or around the eyes. Dermal fillers give a lift to the facial features, and volumize areas like the cheeks and lips, for a more youthful appearance. Hyaluronic fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane are among the most popular choices.  Placement of botox and other fillers should be done conservatively, in order to achieve the most natural results.

Best candidates for a liquid facelift

The loss of facial fat typicallystarts in the late 30’s and 40’s, so this is the time when a liquid faceliftis most beneficial.  Botox and fillers last for about 6 months, but some fillers can last up to a year (learn more).
